Imperfections.
We’ve all done things that we’re not proud of in our lives, made mistakes that made us hurt the ones we care about. Made a wrong choice that made it seemed as though people cannot trust us again.
I hate that people can’t get over the things that have happened in the past. Everyone is human, everyone is going to make a mistake, some more than others.
Whether that be thinking that you have feelings for someone then it turns out you don’t. Or done something that some deem as slutty, etc.
People have to make mistakes to improve their lives and learn from them.
If you’re one of those people who can’t get over that girl who thought she had feelings for you and acted on them then realized she liked you as just a friend or that person who lead someone on and they moved on and you weren’t okay with it, etc. you need to stop spreading rumors to feel better about yourself. Seriously. Deep down they could be an amazing person who was just going through a rough patch. You cannot just base your opinion on someone by the mistakes they made when they are going through a bad time or a huge change such as a college change, a break up, moving, etc.
Yes, some people are just shitty people but most are just making a common mistake that you cannot hold above their heads for the rest of their lives. It’s not fair to them and you’ll probably miss out on the great things about them.
Everyone deserves a second chance, a fair start over.
